    TAG members will be given the opportunity to plan programs, select books and other materials, and earn volunteer hours. Open to grades 6-12. The program meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month (except June, July, and December) from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

  3. All About Amphibians

    On Wednesday, May 24 at 6:30 p.m., Texas Master Naturalist Scott Kiester will present “All About Amphibians” at the Flower Mound Public Library. This introduction to amphibians (frogs, toads, newts, salamanders, and caecilians) will cover their physical characteristics, life cycle, behaviors, and adaptations to various habitats. Immediately following the presentation, join us for a “Frog Walk” at LLELA Nature Preserve (201 E Jones St, Lewisville, 75057) where we’ll look and listen for amphibians showcased in the program.   2. Concert in the Park - Audio House

    Enjoy a perfect May evening relaxing and listening to great music with your family and friends. This year's concerts will be held every Friday in May and feature a variety of family-friendly, live music for you to enjoy, FREE of charge! All concerts are held at Flower Mound Heritage Park, 600 Spinks Rd., and begin at 7 p.m. Please note that glass and alcohol are prohibited on park property. Don't forget your lawn chairs or blankets to sit on to enjoy the concert! Food trucks will be on-site preparing great food to purchase. Overflow parking for the event is at the Community Activity Center, 1200 Gerault Road.     The Town of Flower Mound invites the community to join together in observance of Memorial Day to remember all fallen soldiers of war at 9 a.m. on Monday, May 29 at the Flower Mound Senior Center (2701 W. Windsor Dr.). The program will feature a keynote speaker, Color Guard, patriotic music, bagpipers and a wreath presentation. This is a free event that is open to the public.
