Fall Trash Bash and Environmental Education Fair

Don’t miss the Keep Flower Mound Beautiful (KFMB) Fall Trash Bash and Environmental Education Fair, set for Saturday, September 23. The community clean-up will be from 8 until 11 a.m., with the Environmental Education Fair kicking off at 10 a.m. and ending at 1 p.m. There is a new location this year; both events will be held in the Flower Mound High School parking lot, located at 3411 Peters Colony Rd. All supplies for the clean-up, and lunch will be provided, not to mention the first 300 volunteers to register at www.kfmb.org will be eligible to win giveaways! The fair and clean-up are both free and will include activities for children, a shredding service for Town residents by Shred-It, electronic waste collection sponsored by Best Buy, a lightly-used clothing and housewares drive by Christian Community Action, in addition to various booths full of information on positive environmental practices.
